Favorites Project

All the smart guys say you should read a book three times during your lifetime, in order to best appreciate it.  Unfortunately, most of us read a book once—love it—then move on.  This severely undercuts our ability to appreciate these books, and oftentimes we forget why we loved them in the first place.  Every winter and summer, I will re-read one of my favorite books.  For this project, I’ve read:

• Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
• The Stand by Stephen King
• The Awakening by Kate Chopin
• To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
• Dark Tower series by Stephen King
• WILL READ: In Cold Blood by Truman Capote
