As a recovering English major and a struggling writer, this blog began as my way to continue writing about what I love most…books and the literary experience. Jobs where we can pursue our passions are few and far-between, and usually involve some compromising of morals, but I’ve discovered Paperback Fool to be the greatest means of following my dreams, while occasionally reaching an audience. I’m also a tad self-absorbed and like any millennial, believe my life is vastly interesting. Blogging allows me to feel I have a place — and a voice — in this world, or at least out here on the tundra-like expanse of the Interwebs.

Hello paperback fool (as I do not know your real name…)-
I just thought I would let you know that I added you to my list of favorite blogs, and I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to blog about books I’m reading.
I have a knitting blog, but haven’t had much time for knitting, and I have nothing to blog about, so books are a refreshing (and welcome!) change!
Again, thank you!

Hi paperback fool. I’m another book blogger, who set out to find someone else who has read (and liked) Brideshead Revisited…and the search through up your name. Well, your blog. Just thought I’d drop you a line to let you know how happy I am to meet someone else who reads nearly as much as me!
